Nambour Tournament

19th-20th November 2016

The last tournament of the year was certainly a great one to finish on as it all came down the  last game on the Sunday afternoon  to decide who was going to take out the honours.

The Crackers in the end proved a little too strong and finished up winning with 17 points separating them and the Rumballs for second place.

Similarly it was a close call for third and fourth place with only three points separating the Hams and the Trifles.

Three new players joined our ranks and going by their comments they enjoyed their participation and no doubt we will see them more often at some of our future tournaments.

Saturday afternoon was marked for a very special ocassion with the presentation of a special

"Grand Master" award to David Tester. David has been attending our Master Tournaments for at least the past twenty years and at 82 years of age  he is still a player to never under estimate and is always a good person to have on your team.

Well done David, you deserve it!

Next tournament is scheduled for the 4th and 5th of March next year and we hope to see you there. Our AGM will also be held that weekend on the Sunday at 12.00 noon

Have a great Festive Season.
