The second, ‘World Art Day’ tournament this year was held at the Eagles Sports Complex in Brisbane. We had 44 entries, which included six new players.

Special thanks to Ashawani Soni, CEO of HOLISTIC HOME CARE for their generous sponsorship and support of this event.

The second team was the Pro Harts with 2771 points
The third team was the Rembrandts with 2712 points and
The fourth team was the da Vincis with 2708 points.

Raj’s success probably edged the Picassos into the winning spot as he got the highest overall points for players who played two days at 456, the most number of individual games won at 13 and the maximum x-over points at 93. Other Picasso standouts were Brijesh’s 452 points & 11 games won and An Pham with her 448 points, winning also 11 games.

The Pro Harts pushed the Picassos all the way with Tu showing a great Saturday and best one-day performance well supported by teammate Terry with 451 points and the second-highest individual wins at 12.

Standouts for the Rembrandts were Peter Dua with a great Saturday performance including a max x-over and Jahangir on his Sunday performance including max x-overs.

Not forgetting the Da Vincis who were within breathing distance of the Rembrandts with Dianne Lawrence with a great Sunday performance and maximum x-over points on that day. Parvesh made a solid contribution with 442 points, winning 10 of her games.
