We played back at Craigslea State High School Hall on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April 2024. This month marked the 50th Anniversary since Abba won the Eurovision song contest. 39 people participated in the event including the one day players.
The winners were the Waterloos with 2370 points and the standout performance for this team and overall all the teams was An Pham with maximum wins (15), points (465) and x-overs (93). Barrie Dege again put in a strong performance with 12 wins, 458 points (second highest of all teams) and 91 x-over points.
Second on 2219 points were the Mamma Mias and the best performance for this team was Linh Truong with 12 wins, 448 points (3rd highest of all teams) and maximum x-over points. He was ably supported by Brijesh Aravind with 11 wins, 447 points and 91 in x-over points.
Third were the Money Money Monies with a total of 2103, highlighted by Raj Gupta achieving 422 overall points.
The Fernandos came fourth, coming only 6 points behind third place with 2097 points with a strong contribution form Rishu Kumar with 443 points and 87 in x-overs.
