SANTA’S GROUPIES was our 6th and final tournament of 2022.
There were 44 entries and we welcomed 3 NEW players (Dave Wood; Sabu Sebatian; Thi Mon Luong) and welcomed the return of 4 very keen players from Bundy and Rockhampton who had their initial taste of BMAQ Tournaments in October at Bundaberg.
It was a very close tournament with only 27 points between the 1st and 4th team after session 1. Games remained close for the rest of the tournament and is the first time we’ve seen a large number of 31:30 games.

Well done to the Top Scorers of the Tournament with 459 points out of a maximum of 465 to Barrie Dege and Julie Chalmers.
Thank you to all members who helped set up and pack up and assist with umpiring in-between their own games.
The next tournament will be at NAMBOUR on the 25th & 26th of February 2023 which will also coincide with BMAQ’s AGM. Please consider putting your name forward to assist in some way. NEW people bring fresh ideas and indeed enthusiasm. Information regarding the AGM will be emailed in mid-January.
